DOMINICAN COLLEGE TO HOST CELEBRITY SPORTS NIGHT

Blauvelt, NY (1/7/08) Please join Dominican College on January 18 when celebrities from the world of sports will help the College kick-off the expansion of the Hennessy Center gym and athletic building.  There will be an all-star line-up joining Joe Clinton, Dominican's Director of Athletics, which will include:

• Gerry Cooney, of boxing fame
• John Flaherty, television broadcaster and former Yankee catcher
• Rich "Goose" Gossage, former Yankee pitcher
• Bruce Harper, former Jets running back
• Marc Malusis, WFAN Sportscaster
• Karl Nelson, former Giants tackle

The party begins at 6:30pm in the lobby of the Hennessy Center with cocktails and a silent auction of high-end sports memorabilia. Following the reception and a brief multi-media presentation in the gym, there will be an hour of conversation with the stars. Audience participation will be encouraged. The superstar bash will end with a dessert buffet and the announcing of winners in the silent auction.
