Orangeburg, N.Y. (1/2/13) Dominican College men's basketball player, Cory Quimby* (Otisville, N.Y.), netted his 1,000th career point as the team defeated the visiting Dolphins of Le Moyne College, 56-51, this evening in the second game of the 7th Annual James Clancy Memorial Basketball Tournament held at the Hennessy Center. In the first game, Franklin Pierce University topped Queens College, 66-60.

Orangeburg, NY (7/23/12) The Dominican College women's volleyball team has been honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as the team earned the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2011-2012 season. A record-breaking 533 teams were honored by the AVCA for academic excellence. This is the first time in program history that the Lady Chargers received this award.
