New Orleans, LA (5/16/12) The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has named All-Region honorees for outdoor track & field in Division II. The top five from each region in individual events and each member of a relay ranked in the region’s top three have earned the All-Region distinction for the 2012 outdoor season. New Castle, DE (5/11/12) The Dominican College baseball team, seeded third in the tournament, was eliminated from the 2012 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Championships after falling to the top-seeded Golden Falcons of Felician College, 7-4 this evening in a game played at Wilson Stadium. Brookville, NY (5/4/12) Junior Ashley Corrao broke a 2-2 tie in the top of the 12th inning with a two-run homer to lead the sixth-seeded Dominican College softball team to a 4-2 victory over third-seed, C.W. MEN'S SOCCER TOPS MOLLOY COLLEGE
Rockville Centre, NY (9/9/11) The Dominican College men's soccer team won their first game of the 2011 season as they topped non-conference opponent, Molloy College, 2-1 this afternoon in a game played at Dean Skelos Complex. With the win, Dominican improves to 1-1-1 on the season, while Molloy falls to 0-4 on the year.

MEN'S AND WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULES ANNOUNCED
Orangeburg, NY (9/7/11) The Dominican College men and women's basketball teams have announced the release of their schedules for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. Both teams will begin the season on the road as the Chargers will travel to Pace University for a tournament and the women will take on Dowling College.

LADY CHARGERS VOLLEYBALL CRUISE TO VICTORY OVER FELICIAN COLLEGE
Rutherford, NJ (9/7/11) The Dominican College women's volleyball team improved to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after defeating host, Felician College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-9, 25-15) this evening in a match held at Job Gym. Following the loss, Felician falls to 0-5 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SPLITS AT SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT STATE TRI-MATCH
New Haven, CT (9/3/11) The Dominican College women's volleyball team opened up the 2011 season with a split at the Southern Connecticut State University tri-match which was held today. DC lost to host, SCSU, 3-1, but rallied to defeat Molloy College, 3-1 in the second match. With the split Dominican now stands at 1-1 on the season.

LADY CHARGERS VOLLEYBALL TABBED SECOND IN PRESEASON POLL
New Haven, CT (8/26/11) Caldwell College and Holy Family University are the favorites in CACC Volleyball according to the 2011 preseason poll, which was voted upon by the 14 CACC head coaches. Caldwell, the defending Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Champion, collected 12 of a possible 13 first-place votes to top the North Division balloting. Holy Family was voted first on seven ballots to lead South Division voting. Dominican College was picked second in the North Division.

CHARGERS SOCCER TIE FOR TOP SPOT IN CACC MEN'S SOCCER PRESEASON POLL
New Haven, CT (8/18/11) Bloomfield College and Dominican College have tied for the top spot in the 2011 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Soccer Preseason Poll, which was voted upon by the 12 CACC head coaches. The Deacons and Chargers each received 127 points and four first-place votes. Philadelphia University was tabbed third with 113 points and one first-place tally. Five teams were voted first on at least one ballot.

WOMEN'S SOCCER TABBED SEVENTH IN PRE-SEASON POLL
New Haven, CT (8/17/2011) Wilmington University has been selected first according to the 2011 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women’s Soccer Preseason Poll. The voting was conducted by the conference’s 13 head coaches. The Wildcats, who won a regular-season championship last season with a 12-0 record, picked up six first-place votes and 158 total points. Defending CACC Tournament champion Georgian Court University finished second with 142 points and two first-place tallies, while Philadelphia University collected 137 points and one first-place nod.

CACC ANNOUNCES 2011 SPRING ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
New Haven, CT (6/14/11) The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has announced its All-Academic team for the 2011 spring athletic season today. A total of 100 student-athletes among the 14 conference schools earned a place on the list, which is seven more than 2010.

DOMINICAN WOMEN WIN 2010-11 CACC RESTAINO CUP AND MEN FINISH SECOND
New Haven, CT. (6/1/11) The Wilmington University men’s athletic program and the Dominican College women have won the 2010-11 Alfred R. Restaino, Sr., Cups, according to an announcement made by Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Commissioner, Dan Mara. The Wildcats won the men’s race with 10.7 points, while the Chargers narrowly surpassed Philadelphia University on the women’s side with 11.0 points.
