CACC ANNOUNCES 2011 SPRING ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
New Haven, CT (6/14/11) The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) has announced its All-Academic team for the 2011 spring athletic season today. A total of 100 student-athletes among the 14 conference schools earned a place on the list, which is seven more than 2010.

New Haven, CT. (6/1/11) The Wilmington University men’s athletic program and the Dominican College women have won the 2010-11 Alfred R. Restaino, Sr., Cups, according to an announcement made by Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Commissioner, Dan Mara. The Wildcats won the men’s race with 10.7 points, while the Chargers narrowly surpassed Philadelphia University on the women’s side with 11.0 points.

DC defeated Molloy College, 3-0 (25-14; 25-15; 25-10), but fell to Dowling College, 3-0 (17-25; 17-25; 15-25) and the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, 3-0 (12-25; 18-25; 17-25).

MEN'S SOCCER SELECTED TO FINISH SECOND IN CACC PRESEASON POLL
New Haven, CT (8/19/10) Wilmington University, which is ranked 15th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) preseason poll, has been voted first in the 2010 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men’s Soccer Preseason Poll. The poll was conducted by the 12 CACC head coaches. Dominican College was selected second. Holy Family University, Post University and Bloomfield College were chosen third, fourth and fifth, respectively, and were separated by only two votes. Six schools garnered at least one first-place vote.

New Haven, CT (8/16/10) After picking up eight of 13 first-place votes and 160 points, Philadelphia University tops the 2010 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women’s Soccer Preseason Poll, according to balloting conducted by the league’s head coaches. Holy Family University was picked second with 149 points, while Georgian Court University was just one vote behind in third place with 148 points.
